About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN– Post Op PRN III Days We are looking for top skilled nurses to join our Texas Health family. Is that you? Work location\: Texas Health Flower Mound - 4400 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, Texas 75028 Work hours: PRN “as needed” – 9\:30am-8\:00pm, self-scheduling, no call required. PRN III does require 6 shifts per 6 weeks with 2 weekend shifts and 1 major/ 2 minor holidays. Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of post-surgical experience preferred
  • Texas RN license – upon hire required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year of post-surgical experience preferred
