The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering and overseeing high-quality nursing care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring resident safety and well-being in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Active and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Must have prior skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise LVNs and CNAs to ensure safe and effective care delivery
Provide direct nursing care by initiating and implementing individualized treatment plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Initiate and manage IV therapy, perform blood draws, and administer injections as needed
Monitor residents’ conditions using sound clinical judgment and intervene appropriately
Complete resident admissions and discharges as assigned
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain ongoing communication with residents and families regarding care plans and status
