About The Position
Levine Cancer Institute - Barbara L. Levine Breast and Cutaneous Center is an adult outpatient practice specializing in the treatment of breast and cutaneous cancers. Our services include systemic therapy, hormonal therapy, and surgical interventions with select procedures performed in the clinic. Our multidisciplinary team-comprising of surgical and medical oncologists, advanced practical providers, pharmacists, nurse navigators, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and social workers-work collaboratively to deliver patient-centered cancer care. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- One year of Nursing experience needed
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy preferred.
- Oncology certification preferred
