About the New Graduate Nurse Program Mary Washington Healthcare partners with Vizient to offer an evidence-based nurse residency program that supports your transition into professional practice. Program highlights: Evidence-based Vizient curriculum with interactive learning and peer support Flexible start dates offered throughout the year Unit-based orientation with dedicated preceptors Monthly seminars focused on clinical and professional development Comprehensive onboarding, including hospital and Epic training Ongoing mentorship and support from clinical leaders and educators
Requirements
- A Virginia RN license is not required at the time of application but must be obtained prior to your start date
- Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Capacity to cope with difficult situations
- Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends
