About The Position

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – On-Site Medical Services Location: Curlew Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center (JCCC) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to students in accordance with established medical protocols and provider orders. Perform nursing assessments, triage, sick call support, and follow-up care. Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed. Assist with intake physicals, health screenings, laboratory testing, and chronic care management. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation in the Student Health Record (SHR). Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with Job Corps and public health standards. Coordinate care with the Physician, Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (if applicable), Health and Wellness Director (HWD), and other center staff. Assist with medical referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care. Support health promotion, prevention, and education activities for students and staff. Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and medication inventories. Participate in quality improvement activities, audits, and assessments as required.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where services are provided.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Experience working with adolescents and young adults preferred.
