Registered Nurse/Emergency Department Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North, Allen, TX 75013 Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) Three 12-hour night shifts for 36 hours per week. Rotating Weekend and holiday requirements Emergency Department Highlights: Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 70-90 patients/day Flexible scheduling, encouraging department engagement Diverse patient population Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required Two Years experience highly preferred RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course Upon Hire Preferred A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or
Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
