About The Position
Assesses, plans, implements, and documents professional nursing care to the post anesthetic patient. Does preâpost procedural assessments with instructions for the ambulatory surgical, Lithotripsy and cardiac catheterization patients. Evaluates and revises the plan of care specific to age that is being administered by herself and other health care team. Continuously observes and assesses the patient for untoward effects communicating to the physician and taking appropriate measure, to maintain and/or stabilize patient status.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing required
- BLS required
- Must be dependable, flexible and committed to providing outstanding patient care
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of perioperative experience preferred
