About The Position

Registered Nurse 24 hr/week - Part Time - DayShift 6T Medical ICU - Acuity Adaptable Unit Minimum of 1 year inpatient ICU or Progressive Care Unit experience preferred. GENERAL SUMMARY: Shift: 7a - 7:30p Eligible for Sign On Bonus Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Requirements

  • BSN preferred. If ADN, must be willing to enroll in a BSN program within 3 years, obtain your BSN within 5 years.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
