About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient primary care clinic in Bethpage. This role provides direct clinical support to providers, performs nursing assessments, and manages patient triage in a fast-paced clinic environment serving a diverse patient population.

Many of our patients include individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), making compassion, patience, and strong communication skills essential.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) seeking an outpatient primary care or clinic nurse position with a stable daytime schedule.

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, preferably in an outpatient or physician office setting
• Current BLS certification
• Experience working with patients with I/DD
• Knowledge of physician office or outpatient clinic workflows

Nice To Haves

• Experience using eClinicalWorks (EMR)
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for outpatient primary care patients
• Provide patient triage and respond to clinical inquiries
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Coordinate care with medical providers and behavioral health professionals
• Document patient care in eClinicalWorks EMR
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies and healthcare regulations
