About The Position
Atrium Health Levine Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Clinic is an outpatient pediatric specialty clinic located within the Medical Center Plaza building in Charlotte, NC. We provide comprehensive care for children and adolescents with hematologic and oncologic conditions through diagnosis-specific clinics supported by dedicated physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and nursing support staff. Our clinic partners closely with the Levine Children’s Infusion Center, located within the same space, to deliver treatments and procedures in a safe, comfortable, and family-centered environment. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Current certification in BLS required; PALS to be obtained after hire
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV and central line access and management preferred
- APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider status prior to or obtained after hire
- CPHON certification preferred
