About The Position

Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually! What you will do: Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Special Care Nursery RNs shall complete NRP within 3 months of orientation and STABLE within 6 months of nursery orientation.
Orientation to include portions of NOEP (AWHONN'S Neonatal Orientation Education Program) Training Program and shadowing of the NNP's assigned.
Responsible to maintain nursery competencies and annual education requirements.
Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff.
This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure.
Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.

Nice To Haves

For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
OB/Nursery/pediatric experienced preferred
