About The Position

Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually! What you will do: Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Special Care Nursery RNs shall complete NRP within 3 months of orientation and STABLE within 6 months of nursery orientation.
  • Orientation to include portions of NOEP (AWHONN'S Neonatal Orientation Education Program) Training Program and shadowing of the NNP's assigned.
  • Responsible to maintain nursery competencies and annual education requirements.
  • Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff.
  • This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
  • Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure.
  • Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.

Nice To Haves

  • For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
  • OB/Nursery/pediatric experienced preferred
