Registered Nurse (RN), Day Shift Full Time

As a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) nurse, you will provide comprehensive care for geriatric residents who require 24/7 support.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and visitors
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions
- Solid knowledge of nursing best practices and medical procedures
- Understanding of state, federal, and local regulations for long-term care
Responsibilities
- Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed
- Preparing and administering treatments and medications
- Communicating changes in condition to physicians and family members
- Performing skilled nursing services such as tube feedings, suctioning, catheterization, wound care, dressings, and irrigations
- Continuous monitoring of critically ill residents
- Acting as a resident advocate and ensuring care aligns with the care plan and personal wishes
- Completing accurate, timely charting and documentation
