Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work within federally funded healthcare programs
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience working with older adult populations
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Assess residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional status
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Supervise and support caregiving staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
- Document care, assessments, and changes in the EMR
- Participate in infection control and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Promote a respectful, person-centered care environment
