About The Position
Are you ready to make a difference in critical care? Our 40 bed Intensive Care Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus offers a collaborative and supportive environment. Our ICU team manages complex medical-surgical cases, including ventilated patients, stroke patients, trauma cases, and more—all within a typical 2:1 nurse-to-patient assignment to ensure safe, quality care. You’ll work 12-hour shifts alongside an interdisciplinary team that includes providers, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and more—collaborating daily during rounds to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
