Requirements

  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute, or acute care is preferred, but we welcome motivated RNs ready to grow in a post-acute setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and specialized treatments, in accordance with established standards and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of residents, identifying changes in condition and updating care plans accordingly in PointClickCare (PCC).
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing assistants and licensed vocational nurses to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to implement effective treatment plans and prepare residents for a safe discharge.
  • Act as a resource and advocate for residents and their families, providing education and addressing any clinical concerns with compassion.
