About The Position
We are seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week day shift assignment. This unit provides care for patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and infectious conditions in a collaborative, team-based environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Patient Population Cardiac disease Stroke / Acute brain injury (stable patients) Pulmonary embolism (PE) Infection Pain management cases
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MS/Tele experience
- BLS (AHA) required
- Strong telemetry skills required
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response Teams
- Peripheral IV line care/management
- Oxygen therapy (nasal cannula, face masks, portable tanks)
- Non-invasive airway management
- Isolation precautions
