About The Position

Requirements

Active RN license in this state
Knowledge and skills appropriate for age-related resident care
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Understanding of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations
Leadership and supervisory skills
Basic computer proficiency
Successful completion of background check, physical, and drug screening

Responsibilities

Evaluate staff performance, administer disciplinary actions, and complete performance reviews
Conduct nursing assessments and collaborate with the care team, residents, and families to develop individualized care plans
Plan, implement, and interpret programs, goals, and policies to ensure quality care
Set and monitor patient goals to help reduce rehospitalizations
Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
Delegate tasks and supervise staff to ensure proper care delivery
Communicate resident information effectively across shifts
Work independently with professionalism, integrity, and flexibility
Provide compassionate care to residents with varying physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
Assist with emergency evacuations when required
