About The Position

Piedmont Orthopedic Specialists is a part of Atrium's Musculoskeletal Institute. The clinic is made up of 14 physicians/advance practice professionals with varying orthopedic specialties. Our clinic provides assistance for orthopedic issues of the upper extremity (including shoulder, elbow, forearm, and hand) and lower extremity (including hip, knee, and foot/ankle). We have a wide range of patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Most of our work is done at our Gateway location, but we do have a satellite location on Poplar Tent Road. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Preoperative (Pre-op) Orthopedics Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Operating Room (OR) As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current certification in BLS required.
  • ACLS and PALS (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves
