Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for passionate, dedicated RN to provide End of Life care to patients at home. Shift: Evenings Hours: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM Coverage areas: Bethpage, Babylon, Copiague, Massapequa, Syosset and the surrounding towns. Our Hospice RN’s: The Community Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year of recent hands on experience
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation.
