About The Position

Wilson Care and Rehab in Wilson, KS is looking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This rehabilitation nursing position works 12 hour shifts, providing total care for our residents. You will monitor their condition and needs, follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments, and oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure resident care plans are being followed. You will also complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and maintain confidentiality while upholding facility policies and procedures. Your role is vital in providing excellent customer service and building relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements

• RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly

• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' conditions and needs
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Ensure compliance with narcotic policies and procedures
• Monitor for side effects and report changes in residents' conditions
• Oversee nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff
• Complete documentation for resident care
• Admit and discharge residents
• Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found during care
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents and their families
