About The Position
Premise Health is seeking a PTL Registered Nurse to join our team in Crossville, TN. This role is pivotal in providing nursing care to client employees, contractors, and visitors at our health center. The position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The schedule for this role is Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm, with the option to work from 8 am to 11:30 am every other Saturday. As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your nursing skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow effectively. You will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including taking patient histories, performing physical assessments, and obtaining vital signs and other medical tests. In this role, you will provide treatment within your scope of practice as defined by state law and collaborate with Physicians or other Licensed Independent Practitioners to arrange for further medical treatment when necessary. You will also be responsible for identifying equipment that needs repair and ensuring it is reported to the lead clinician. Your duties will include performing occupational and health screening tests as defined in the site contract, conducting laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate documentation of all nursing assessments, treatments, medications administered, and follow-up care arranged. Additionally, you will evaluate the health education and promotion needs of patients, provide necessary training and instruction, and identify emergency situations to provide care within your legal scope of practice. You will administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner, maintain medical records, and ensure a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures. Your role will also involve participating in follow-up phone calls and patient visits, along with other duties as assigned.
