About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at The Grove at North Huntington is designed to provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of attending physicians, the Director of Nursing, and the Medical Director of the facility. This role is critical in ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs. The RN will be responsible for monitoring the performance of non-licensed personnel, ensuring that all care provided aligns with established medical practices and the facility's policies and procedures. The RN will also play a key role in modifying treatment regimens to meet the physical and psychological needs of residents, adhering to current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility. In this full-time role, the RN will engage with residents, families, and the healthcare team to promote optimal health outcomes. The position requires a compassionate approach to nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care. The RN will be expected to maintain accurate records, administer medications, and provide education to residents and their families regarding health management and care plans. The role is essential in fostering a supportive and healing environment for residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort are prioritized at all times.
