About The Position
The Wound Care Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the coordination of the interdisciplinary wound care program and oversight of the care provided. Develops, monitors and adapts individualized treatment plans based on recognized treatment protocols and current standards of practice. Works in collaboration with the Wound Care Team Members and any other direct care givers to assure that the treatment plan is carried out. Responsible for assessing, removal of dressings, cleansing the wounds, measuring, taking photographs, documentation and implementing plan of care. Serves as a resource and role model demonstrating professional skills and abilities.
