Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology. Learn About A Day in the Life of a Med Surg RN: Provide patient care specific to the age of the patient through utilization of the nursing process and by leadership to provide direction to other nursing service personnel and by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health care team. Demonstrates the appropriate skills and ability, based on scope of practice, level of training and/or licensure, to assess, treat, and/or care for patients.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)
  • Current Oklahoma RN License
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • MAB
  • N-95 fit test (yearly)
  • Less than one year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care specific to the age of the patient through utilization of the nursing process
