About The Position

HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg float pool. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in our patient care areas of greatest need covering a variety of departments and wide range of conditions. The position is full time, requiring 36 hours per week, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM and every third weekend. The role involves working across multiple facilities including St. Vincent, St Mary’s, St. Nicholas, and St. Clare located in Green Bay, Sheboygan, and Oconto Falls.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • A Wisconsin RN license is required within 30 days of establishing permanent residency.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Certification in area of specialty is preferred but may be required to float.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in various departments as part of the Med/Surg float pool.
  • Apply clinical knowledge to address a wide range of patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
