Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Arkansas RN license & CPR, required
  • ACLS, required within 90 days
  • This position is available to both new graduate nurses and experienced nurses

Responsibilities

  • Perform a comprehensive and accurate patient assessment using evidence-based assessment tools
  • Provide nursing care according to plan and undertakes clinical practice skills in a competent and safe manner
  • Identify changes in patient's condition and report to appropriate providers
  • Monitor the care that patients receive
  • Maintain patients' medical records through complete and accurate documentation
  • Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent
  • Evaluate patient's progress toward expected clinical outcomes, including treatments and health education, in collaboration with the patient and the health care team
