About The Position

As a Weekend 2/4 Operating Room Nurse at Paoli Hospital, you will provide 1:1 patient care to individuals before, during, and after surgery. You will work in our 14 Operating Rooms alongside world-renowned Surgeons, scrubbing and circulating various surgical cases across multiple specialties including General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, and Robotics. This role not only allows you to be on the cutting edge of surgical care but also encourages your professional development through ongoing education and feedback from management.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent Operating Room Nurse experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Scrub and circulate in various surgical cases.
• Engage in department and hospital-wide Nursing Committees and Unit Councils.
• Participate in evidence-based research projects.
• Pursue the Clinical Ladder program and act as a preceptor for new hires.
