About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Option at CarDon and Associates plays a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care during weekend shifts. Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience in direct resident care, including medication administration and wound care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team during weekend shifts.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
Strong communication and resident advocacy skills.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care including medication administration, wound care, and telemetry monitoring during weekend shifts.
Assess and document patient conditions, reporting any changes promptly to the healthcare team.
Educate residents and their families on health maintenance, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Advocate for residents' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected at all times.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
