Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Responsible for the coordination and performance of nursing activities in assigned section/unit during a designated shift.
• In the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator, a Registered Nurse on some shifts is responsible for facility operations.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN state license.
• A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in a long-term living facility a plus, but not required.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents in a caring, compassionate manner.
