About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) for the VAD Team will work part-time night shifts, specifically from 2130 to 0600, Monday through Friday, with alternating holidays. This role involves using the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient-centered care and actively participate in discharge planning. The position requires a commitment to patient safety, ethical decision-making, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
