About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Elevate your career! The position requires 36-hours of work during the night shift. The RN Unit Coordinator will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department. Under the direction of the department manager, the RN will lead safety and quality initiatives, focus on and simplify workflow, and contribute to the development of staff. Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Registered nursing License (Required).
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire.
  • 18-months of RN experience is required.
