The company is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (Triage & Support) for Cherry Hill OBGYN in Turnersville, NJ. This role involves coordinating patient care and participating in policy and procedure implementations related to medical services for nursing staff, primarily through telephone interactions.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• Current New Jersey licensure as a Registered Nurse
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and participate in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone
• Evaluate and assess patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
• Obtain appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
• Accurately document symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response
• Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health
