About The Position
The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements
- Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
- 1-2 years ED or ICU
- REGISTERED NURSE License
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
- PALS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) or ENPC (ENA)
- TNCC-Provider (ENA)
- CPI (Within 30 days of hire)
- NIH STROKE certification (within 60 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient
- Implements Patient Care
- Educates patient and family
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to hospital & departmental policies and procedures.
