About The Position

Come join the Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital as a full-time Registered Nurse. We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for this night shift position. Schedule: Full Time Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts) Must be available various shifts/times during orientation. Sign-On Bonus as well as a Relocation Bonus available. Inova Loudoun Hospital is a growing 211-bed nationally recognized acute-care community hospital with a rich history of proudly serving our growing and diverse community since 1912. We provide compassionate and comprehensive care for the entire family. Our Surgical Trauma ICU unit is a 12-bed unit on the second floor with close proximity to the OR. We care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, along with post-procedural patients. We also care for Intermediate Care level surgical and trauma patients as well. Patient to Nurse Ratio: 2:1 (ICU patients) and 3:1 (IMC patients) in the STICU.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required.
• ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN)- must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
