Department/Unit Summary Medical transportation of neonates and children over substantial distances involves distinct challenges and requires specially trained teams of healthcare professionals. Join our team of neonatal and pediatric transport services, the only unit in Southern New Mexico dedicated to transfer children ranging from newborn to 18 years. Our specialty care transport team of registered nurses and respiratory therapists are extensively trained and available 24/7. We transfer children who are too sick for a standard ambulance to a specialized facility that can provide higher-level care. The team can handle a wide range of emergencies and are under the direct supervision of our PICU/NICU Physicians. How you’ll contribute You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • PALS and ACLS are required within six months of hire.
  • Three years as a Registered Nurse in perinatal, neonatal and pediatric critical care or emergency required
