About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time temporary positions on night shift (7p - 7:30a, 36 hrs/week, every other Saturday and Sunday) shift for a 6-month temp assignment. This position has the opportunity to become a full-time permanent position after the temp period. Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a newly opened (July, 2018) 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility will also offer services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Requirements

• A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.
• Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.
• CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
• Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible for the temporary position.

Benefits

• $60 per hour for the 6 month temp-to-perm assignment.
