About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit at Maryview Medical Center. The RN delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifies and determines the priority of patient’s problems/needs, and evaluates the process and outcome of nursing care. The role also involves coordinating, providing, and directing patient teaching activities, and coordinating care provided by health team members. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team, the RN conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyzes assessment data, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates treatment effectiveness. The RN administers medications safely, consistent with State of Practice and organizational policies, and serves as the point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments. The RN acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department and incorporates the professional practice model into care delivery.

  • Associate of Nursing, nursing (required) OR Diploma in Nursing (required)
