About The Position
As an RN on our TCU team, you’ll provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents recovering from illness, surgery, or hospitalization—supporting both short-term rehabilitation and longer-term needs.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work in federally funded healthcare programs
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, TCU, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience with geriatric care and chronic disease management
Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Assessing residents’ physical, mental, and emotional health and adjusting care plans as needed
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Supervising and supporting caregiving staff
- Educating residents and families on care plans and health needs
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in resident condition
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation within EMR systems
- Participating in infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory initiatives
- Promoting a resident-centered environment focused on dignity, safety, and well-being
