About The Position

Registered Nurse on Inpatient Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit- Part Time - Midnights Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours. Requirements

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire
• This is a part-time position of 48 hours per pay/24 hours per week.
• The hours for this position are Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice.
• Holidays required per organization policy.
