Schedule: Full-time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm 7:00 am (with weekend rotation) Location: AdventHealth Winter Park, 200 N Lakemont Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32792 Unit Highlights: The Surgical PCU is a 20-bed private bed unit caring for a wide array of medical and surgical high acuity patients. The unit includes state-of-the-art equipment and is equipped with ARJO/ceiling lifts, bike, and ocular including in our bariatric suites. Be a part of a strong, multi-disciplinary team with on-site Intensivist coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Our team of highly engaged nurses with dedicated preceptors love to teach eager new nurses. We believe in teamwork and are a cohesive team consisting multiple disciplines. All who work together to create an environment where comprehensive whole body health care is provided to all patients and families. You will be an active member of this amazing multifaceted team. The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Winter Park is a hospital built for the community by the community. The land for the hospital was donated by the city of Winter Park. Chartered in 1951, the hospital is a 320-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness, and a teaching hospital. The role you'll contribute: The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
• EKG
