About The Position

The Operating Room Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Surgical Services in the assessment, planning, implementation, and the evaluation of nursing service in the surgical services OR and Endo areas. He/She makes workload assignments and oversees patient flow/safety throughout surgical services in addition to a specific patient assignment.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a charge nurse with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competence.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serve as a patient-care innovator.
• Shape exceptional patient journeys every day.
• Leverage skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
• Assist the Director of Surgical Services in various nursing service evaluations.
• Make workload assignments and oversee patient flow/safety.
