Provides direct patient care within the operating room, acting as the patients
advocate, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Supports the surgical team
by monitoring patient safety before during and after surgery and documentation.
May assist to scrub when needed. The registered nurse is responsible to take
weekend call (approximately every 4-5th weekend) and during the week (includes
the weekend call).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate’s degree in nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS (required, must acquire within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
