Provides direct patient care within the operating room, acting as the patients advocate, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Supports the surgical team by monitoring patient safety before during and after surgery and documentation. May assist to scrub when needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
- Associate’s degree in nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- BCLS required
- ACLS and PALS (required, must acquire within 90 days of hire)

Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care within the operating room
