About The Position

As a registered nurse (RN) in the Operating Room at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:1, and you will be responsible for utilizing specialized plan-of-care interventions to shape exceptional patient journeys. The role includes working in various operating rooms with specialties such as plastics, neuro, general, ortho, gyne, cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, urology, and robotic cases. A 6-month orientation is provided for candidates with no OR experience. This is a full-time position with variable 8-hour shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CPR Certification.
• One year minimum of nursing experience and/or equivalent surgical experience.

Nice To Haves

• CNOR certification preferred.
• Operating Room circulating nurse/ASC experience preferred.
