About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. First Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) are incredibly important members of the medical team who help to prep patients for surgery and support surgeons and surgical staff to ensure successful surgical encounters. RNs not only provide high-quality medical care but they also provide a healing touch and a compassionate presence to patients and their families during joyful stressful and uncertain times. Requirements

  • Licensed in the state of practice-Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
  • 2 Years-Surgery-Required
  • A minimum of two years of perioperative experience within the last five years is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors-Nursing-Preferred
  • CRNFA certification is preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-Preferred
