About The Position

The Registered Nurse, or RN, is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. N SUPERVISOR – NURSING HOME Location: Forest Hills Queens NY Schedule: [Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem | Shift] We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and maintain compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- Previous nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience a must
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure quality care for residents in accordance with care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Complete documentation and incident reports
- Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
