About The Position

What to Expect as a Nursing Supervisor at Saint Mary’s Home The Nursing Supervisor, reporting to the Director of Nursing Services, oversees resident care and clinical staff performance during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality care, supports interdisciplinary teamwork, and serves as the administrative representative when leadership is off‑site.

Requirements

  • Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
  • Three years in Clinical practice, with one year in long-term care required.
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills required.
  • Working knowledge of state (CT) regulatory requirements.
  • CPR certification.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable Accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute care and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Computer literacy strongly preferred.
