About the position
Responsible for coordinating, supervising daily operations of the Unit. Directs the delivery of care by department personnel to ensure patient outcomes are achieved, high quality care is delivered and the patient experience is enhanced. Fosters and maintains positive working relationships among staff, physicians and medical center personnel to ensure collaboration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Responsibilities

- Ensure patient outcomes are achieved and high quality care is delivered.
- Enhance the patient experience.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships among staff, physicians, and medical center personnel.
Requirements
- Current State license as a registered nurse.
- BSN or higher.
- Approximately two to three years progressively more responsible related work experience.
- At least two years clinical experience as an RN.

- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and administration.
- Interpersonal skills necessary for effective leadership.
- Analytical skills for organizing and monitoring Unit activities.
