About The Position

Aurora Medical Center-Grafton is recruiting a .9 Weekend Program position for a blended STAT/ICU RN role. This position will have three 12-hour shifts. 2 shifts will work in the STAT RN role (1800-0630) and 1 shift in the ICU RN role (1900-0730). ICU experience is required for this position. The STAT ICU RN is an experienced ICU RN that responds to medical emergencies throughout the hospital; including Stroke alerts, Cardiac Arrests, Rapid Responses, Mass Transfusions, etc. In addition, will monitors inpatients utilizing Epic resources, rounds house-wide on units, and collaborates with the House Supervisor. The ICU Grafton is completely different than any other ICU; we are a community hospital with a 'teaching hospital' environment. Our intensivists have students which offers constant teaching and learning for our amazing nurses. Our ICU nurses are trained in CVVH, Balloon Pumps, Swan Ganz Catheters and so much more. Our nurses not only develop professionally but they also enjoy working with their team. Our unit is a family, and we support each other.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
• Includes the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.
