About The Position

The Staffing Resource Team (SRT) is comprised of part-time or full-time staff that float through the Dartmouth Hitchcock ambulatory departments, located at DHMC based on our current staffing needs. They provide critical support to departments with current staffing needs. This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Lebanon Ambulatory Clinics Staffing Resource Team, working full-time with shifts of either 4 x 9's or 4 x 8's plus 1 x 4 hours, or 5 x 8's. A $5.00 shift differential is offered for Staffing Resource Team members.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience, or Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire and as applicable, higher level per unit certification requirements as stated on the grid attached to the AHA and Life Support Policy.
• ACLS Certificate required upon hire in Endoscopy, Tele-ICU, Day Surgery Center at CGP (Manchester), Life Safety and Cardiology-Echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or to elevate to the care team as necessary.
• Practices in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients, uphold their autonomy in decision-making, ensure informed consent and assist patients and families in expressing self-determination.
• Actively seeks feedback and acts to improve performance.
• Engages in the governance of practice.
• Manages interpersonal relationships for self and with others.
• Mentors colleagues for the advancement of nursing practice and the profession.
